LOCAL SEO · SHOPS · GENEVA

Local SEO in Geneva: be found on the map, then be chosen.

When someone looks for a restaurant, a hairdresser or a tradesperson near them, Google shows a map and a few business profiles first. With the Visibilité plan, we keep your Google profile up to date, reply to your reviews and keep your details accurate in the directories. Your website is included: CHF 99 a month, with no set-up fee.

  • Nothing to pay before you have seen your website
  • A reply to every one of your reviews
  • A monthly report, backed by figures

What Google looks at for the map

Google says so itself: it ranks local results on three factors, relevance, distance and prominence. Two of them can be worked on.

  • Relevance. Do your profile and website say clearly what you do? The main category, your services, your hours and one page of your website per trade answer your customer's search.
  • Distance. It cannot be changed: Google shows what is close to the person searching, or to the place they name. That is why your municipality and neighbourhood should be written out in full on your website.
  • Prominence. The number and rating of your reviews, the websites that mention you, the directories where you are listed with the same name, address and telephone number. It is built month after month, never all at once.

An up-to-date profile also serves your website: Google’s previews and search assistants cross-check the two. Our guide details the checks you can make yourself on your Google profile.

What we do, every month

All of the following is included in the Visibilité plan, CHF 99 a month or CHF 990 a year, with your website.

  • Your Google profile kept up to date

Hours, photos, business details and one post a month. Before every Geneva public holiday, we ask whether you are open, then update the profile and the website.

  • A reply to every review

Within 2 working days, in the tone you have chosen. A reply to a review of three stars or fewer is only published with your approval.

  • More reviews, within the rules

A counter stand with a contactless QR code, and a message ready to send to your customers. It invites all your customers and offers nothing in return: that is Google’s rule.

  • The same details everywhere

Apple Maps, Bing, local.ch, search.ch, OpenStreetMap and Facebook, plus Tripadvisor and TheFork for restaurants. An identical name, address and telephone number everywhere: that is what Google and the assistants cross-check.

  • A website that answers

Your trade, your municipality, your hours and your prices readable in one sentence, in up to six languages, with the structured data Google reads and an llms.txt file for the assistants.

  • A monthly report

Visits to your website, calls and direction requests from Google, your reviews, and what search assistants say about your business.

What our surveys show in Geneva

In October 2026, we measured the Google visibility of 299 websites of independent businesses in the canton. Among the sound websites, 38% have no estimated visit from Google; among the weak websites, 70%. The detail is in our study of the Google visibility of Geneva shops.

Having a website is therefore not enough. It must say clearly what it does and where, and be linked to an up-to-date Google profile. The demand does exist: “restaurant genève” is searched about 1,500 times a month in Switzerland, “coiffeur geneve” 290 times. On the map, those searches go first to complete, well-rated profiles close to the person searching.

How it works

  • A 15-minute meeting at your business. Together we look at your Google profile, your reviews and what can be found about you online.
  • A first version of your website within 7 days. You see it before you decide; nothing to pay until it suits you.
  • Going live, with your profile linked. Your approval by email is enough. The website goes live on the working day after your payment, and your Google profile points to it.
  • Then we keep everything up to date. A price, hours, a closure: one message is enough, handled within 1 working day.

All plans, line by line, are on the plans page. For a service business that also wants monthly content and rank tracking, see the Croissance plan; for search assistants, our page on AI search optimisation.

Your questions about local SEO

Do I have to pay Google to appear on the map?

No. A Google profile is free and its place on the map cannot be bought. Google Ads, which are paid, are something else: they are not part of our plans.

How long before I rank better?

Nobody can honestly promise that: Google decides alone. We promise the actions described on this page, every month, and a report that shows what they achieve: visits, calls, directions and reviews.

Can you delete a negative review?

No. We never publish, edit or delete reviews. We reply to them, with your approval for a review of three stars or fewer. A fake or abusive review can be reported to Google, which decides according to its rules.

I already have a Google profile. Do I need to create it again?

No. We keep the one you have up to date, and it stays in your name. A second profile for the same business is against Google’s rules and harms both.

What is not included?

Paid advertising, a graphic redesign, a new feature such as an online shop or a booking system, and long-form writing. We give you a quote beforehand.

Let’s talk about your business.

A 15-minute meeting at your business, Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm. We look together at your Google profile and what can be found about you.
