Who is responsible

This website

• No cookies, audience analytics, advertising or contact forms.
• No third-party services are called by these pages: fonts and images are served by this website.
• Technical logs: like any server, our host, Cloudflare, Inc. (United States), receives your IP address and technical browser information to deliver the pages and protect the website. Cloudflare participates in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the Swiss Federal Council as providing adequate protection.

When you contact us

• By email: messages arrive in our Microsoft 365 mailbox (Microsoft Corporation, United States, a participant in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
• By phone: we note what is useful to answer your request.
• By WhatsApp: messages pass through that service (Meta group) under its own rules. Prefer email or phone if you do not already use it.

We use these exchanges to respond and, if you become a client, to fulfil our contract. We keep them for the duration of our relationship; accounting records (invoices and payments) are retained for ten years, as required by law.

Businesses we contact

To prepare a website proposal, we use public information about your business: Geneva's business register, your Google listing and public pages. We query search services (Google, Brave Search, search.ch), which receive your business name and address. To prepare the proposal, this information passes through language models (LLMs): OpenAI (United States) and DeepSeek (China). Only public information is sent to them. China is not recognised by the Swiss Federal Council as providing adequate data protection. This disclosure relies on the exceptions for data made generally accessible and data from a public register (Article 17 paragraph 1 letters e and f FADP). You may object at any time.

If you are a client

We process your contact details, correspondence and invoices to fulfil our contract. For website hosting, we act as your data processor and use Cloudflare, Inc. Personal contact details contained in your messages are not sent to language models (LLMs).

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, and object to processing: email alexis@taolabs.ch. If our response does not satisfy you, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.
